Statesman places order for PRIMA
Esprit
Chicago, 17th January 2007.
Harland Simon has secured an order for PRIMA Esprit and an
interface to ProImage’s NewsWay workflow system. This will be
the third such order in the last 12-months. This order follows
on from the successful implementation at St. Petersburg Times,
FL and Arizona Republic, AZ.
PRIMA
Esprit will enable a single operator to generate impositions
across all four Austin American Statesman’s presses and automate
the page tracking and page delivery to their ProImage NewsWay
system. Austin’s presses are a mixture of Goss bi-directional
Metroliner
units, KBA
add-on towers and a full KBA press.
The project
is expected to be running live by March 2007.
