Simon at IFRA
August 2002
At IFRA Expo 2002, Harland Simon,
the newspaper automation, integration and control company,
will be demonstrating a number of it’s cost-effective
software products. Products that enhance workflow; that maximise
colour capabilities.
Harland Simon, perhaps best known
for press control and automation systems will, for the first
time at IFRA, be offering OEM and Integrator partner agreements
for its ColorWare and Esprit software, real-time solutions
that automate imposition generation, increase efficiency and
maximise colour availability.
The Ad and Production
Managers’
Dream:
ColorWare allows advertising departments, without intimate
press knowledge, to instantly view where colour can most profitably
be sold. Esprit provides the production planner or pressroom
manager with the ultimate tool to ensure the press is webbed
up in the most efficient manner. Two easy-to-use tools that
provide newspapers with a unique and productive advantage.
Also on show will be the PRIMA production management system.
This suite of products provides production managers with the
ultimate tools with which to optimise production and reduce
waste. With modules to cover planning, pre-setting, monitoring,
analysis, roll tracking, copy counting, plate tracking, proofing,
maintenance and reporting, the system has already been implemented
at many of the world’s leading newspapers.
