Harland Simon announced today the launch of their PRIMA Mailroom Manager solution, the latest addition to their PRIMA range of Newspaper Management products.

A Harland Simon spokesperson commented, “PRIMA Mailroom Manager has been developed in direct response to the needs of our international client base, which is now very much focused on getting better value from their mailrooms.”

PRIMA Mailroom Manager provides a single simple user interface, covering the main area of: warehouse, insert and route planning, stacker and inserter interfaces, and mailroom management.

The product design enables all elements connected to and within the mailroom to be seamlessly integrated. The benefit to the Newspaper printer is simplified workflows, which result in a far more effective, efficient, and robust mailroom operation.

The spokesperson further added, “In a large number of customers, we see a mixture of equipment and systems from different manufacturers and with different ages. This creates the opportunity for problems to occur and in these days of micro zoning and high market focus, the old solutions of work rounds and manual links no longer seem adequate.”
