The PRIMA Returns Manager - the latest
development from Harland Simon in association with Harland
Simon plc., will be officially launched this year at NEXPO
2005.
Designed to facilitate accurate acquisition
of newspaper returns figures without over complicating the
returns procedure, The PRIMA Returns Manager is the latest
addition to Harland Simon’s PRIMA range of printing management
information system products, which have become a market
leader with over 150 systems installed at over 70 sites
world-wide including Wall Street Journal and the New York
Times.
Designed as a robust unit, with a touch
screen interface for ease of use, wheels for maximum flexibility
and locking features for storage, this system is capable
of processing up to 10,000 returns in an 8-hr day and eliminating
all double data entry.
“The real beauty of this system
is in the simplicity of its operation whilst solving the
age old problem of accurately recording every return in
a timely manner and removing the requirement for long term
storage of paper top sheets. This was only possible
because the design team included a group of newspaper
publishers and ABC (UK)" says a Harland Simon
spokesperson.
"At all times the balance was kept
between accuracy, speed and cost. The result has been astonishing
in terms of sales and interest expressed in the first month
since its introduction to the UK market. With our extensive
customer base in North America for our other solutions we
believe this system will become the defacto standard for
returns management in North America within the next 2 years”.
PRIMA Returns Manager demonstrations
will be held throughout NEXPO 2005, at 11.00am & 2.00pm
on each of the 4 show days, with other times available upon
request (Booth No: 3725).
