system pulls together information from the roll store, press
hall and mailroom to provide real-time monitoring and historic
reporting.
Information is
collected from the existing plant, via sensors and directly
from operator input during the run, so that clear, concise
production reports can be generated immediately without staff
having to manually enter data after the event.
PRIMA.net
provides copy counting on a per job basis, roll inventory
management, web break monitoring and logging, stop reason
and downtime analysis, planning of staff manning, waste analysis
and real-time production monitoring.
The modules that
form PRIMA.net fall into
four areas of operation: Production Office, Press Hall, Mailroom
and Roll Store. The complete system will allow monitoring
of the production process from the moment paper arrives on-site
