Harland Simon’s press automation solutions combine over 20 years of experience in the newspaper printing industry with state-of-the-art advances in automation and information technology. Using standard platforms we have designed a truly ‘open’ press automation solution, from the PRIMA computer system, through the press control consoles to the machine control equipment.

The PRIMA automation system is able to control any size of press from any press manufacturer. In addition, our PressNet software provides standard interfaces to a large number of third party manufacturers’ equipment, including Baldwin, Ryco, CGI, Perretta and PPSI.
