PRIMA ColorWare is a unique software solution aimed at helping editorial, planning and advertising departments to optimize the use of color. It’s like having a press expert on your desktop.

ColorWare answers the question ‘ Where can I put color?’ It also highlights the best pages for additional color, takes into account production running rules and unserviceable parts of the press and indicates how difficult it will be to produce a product or edition.

PRIMA ColorWare gives you all the press hall information you need to produce better-planned products without the need to continually refer to production staff.

As more color is booked, the system very quickly calculates where else color is available using the current press configuration and preferences defined by the production department.

Like all Harland Simon software, it runs on standard platform PCs. The ColorWare algorithms and press configurations will run on a high-performance PC under the Windows XP/2003 Server operating system either in a stand-alone or networked configuration.
