It is an automatic imposition generator with the following valuable key features:- Esprit calculates the best imposition; takes into account unusable equipment; provides press capability information; shows additional color capability; provides a clear print out for webbing-up, minimizes changeover effort; accommodates user preferences; incorporates the functionality of your press, including bay windows, balloon formers, half bars and dinky bars.

PRIMA Esprit calculates impositions in seconds. Using pre-configured information on your press capabilities, and taking into account currently unusable equipment, Esprit will quickly and efficiently identify the best possible impositions to produce the product you have defined on the selected presses.

Esprit prints an easy-to-understand, color layout of the press, for the press operators to use in webbing-up. The printout saves time in make-ready. As well as being able to print an imposition, the user is also able to save it as a bitmap in order to e-mail it.

Where a page could contain more color, Esprit shows this in blue. Editorial and advertising departments may use this information to help maximize sales.

In addition, customers that also have the PRIMA MS press management system can upload product specifications from the MS and download generated impositions to its catalogue.
